Famitsu traveled to Namco Bandai’s Las Vegas event last week to interview Level-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, which is maybe a little weird. Buried in a long discussion about Ni no Kuni for PS3 is a question about the localization prospects of Ni no Kuni for DS, which, again, is a little weird coming from Famitsu.
The answer is not encouraging. Hino said that because of difficulty translating the bundled Magic Master book, and the difficulty of selling such a bundle outside of Japan, plans to localize the DS game were “abandoned.”
The PS3 game is still coming out, due in the first quarter of 2013, and looks really pretty.Buy: Ni no Kuni DS, Ni no Kuni PS3 See also: Media and news for Ni no Kuni [Via Andriasang]
GOD DAMN IT LEVEL-5 WE DIDN’T CARE ABOUT THAT BOOK ALL WE WANTED WAS THE GAME
But the book was needed for certain parts of the game.
Not only that it kind of ruins the experience if we were to get the game without it.
I know but
I don’t own a PS3 ;_;
