For many years the Inuyama Bridge was almost a trademark of the Nagoya Railroad, combining road and rail traffic until it was later remodeled to simply be a rail bridge.
I still can’t get over how Japan has such a vast rail network compared to us
I mean, yeah, they have a smaller area to work with as opposed to ours but like 90% of their railroads are electric and they don’t rely on diesels as much as us aside from freight work and the occasional passenger service/DMU
